The inspiration for this design resides in my creatives communities motivation for material success without sacrificing our creative desires. It speaks to waking up everyday with material success on our minds and the tools chosen to achieve said material success. Given that we live in the digital/information age, and the newfound mobility and power of the devices available to creatives, the laptop computer feels nearly inextricable from this process. I wanted a minimal yet repetitive design which simultaneously represents the everyday grind and the entrepreneurial spirit of Dallas creatives.
